Osi Industries is a privately owned American company that deals with the processing of meat that has its international headquarters in Aurora, Illinois. It was founded in 1909 by Otto Kolschowsky, a German immigrant. They were among the first suppliers of meat to McDonald’s fast food and as McDonald’s has grown over the years, so has Osi Industries.

In 2011, it was listed as America’s 136th largest company with annual returns of $ 3 billion. In 2016 it went up the list and became 58th with revenue of $6.1 billion. There are many reasons why they are in the top one hundred.

They also bought the Tyson Food Plant in a move to provide the required infrastructure to continue supporting its growing brand. They also bought Flagship Europe. All these purchases were made in the year 2016.
