Kate Hudson is at the Heart of Fabletics

What’s not to love about Kate Hudson? There is likely not many women who haven’t seen her treasured rom com “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” amid a mass of other hits. She is also just generally like-able. She is down to Earth and just seems to resonate with women everywhere. Those qualities were some of the reasons she was chosen to be the face of unicorn athletic fashion wear brand Fabletics when it started in 2013. At the time the company was a simple startup, looking to make a name for itself in the athletic wear market. Founders knew they needed the perfect face for their brand, and Kate Hudson was definitely that face.

However, when she said yes to Fabletics, she did so with a firm commitment to not just be the face of the company, but to be wholly involved in its operations and success. She detailed her view in a recent Forbes article when she noted that she would never get behind a brand she didn’t fully believe in and would use herself. She did fully believe in Fabletics and saw the success in its horizon. From its beginning in 2013 to today Kate Hudson has been very hands on in the company. She knows exactly which pieces are doing well with her customers, which aren’t and is constantly looking for new trends and innovations to expand the product line. She also works with management and reviews numbers on a weekly basis. She notes that she will always continue to do so, as that is her business philosophy – although she will always be an actress at heart and will continue to act.

While Kate Hudson may be at the heart of Fabletics, the company’s mindset is another reason that they have grown from a startup to $250 million in sales and 1.2 million users in just 3 years. Fabletics was founded with the goal of being an innovator in the market. The company’s founders saw buyers purchase behavior evolving and knew they didn’t want to start a company that wasn’t on that cutting edge.

For that reason, Fabletics has just 22 physical locations and instead uses the technique of a reverse showroom to give buyers a great experience in today’s age of digital first. When people come to Fabletics’ site, they are greeting with a fun lifestyle quiz (check it out on their website). After taking the quiz, the entire experience is digital and is customized to the individual person’s preference. This means that there is no need to visit a physical showroom to get exactly what they are looking for every month.

Adam Goldenberg’s Big Plans For TechStyle’s Fashion Sizes

Adam Goldenberg is the cofounder and co-CEO of one of the top new apparel retailers TechStyle Fashion Group. Goldenberg said he renamed JustFab to TechStyle because the company website uses predictive analytics and big data to customize user experiences. He now wants to give women of all sizes an opportunity to wear attractive outfits and feel good about themselves, so he had all-inclusive lines launched just this last year. Goldenberg says the company values diversity and giving women a sense of self confidence and inner empowerment. TechStyle is also the parent company to ShoeDazzle, Fabletics, FabKids and FL2.

Adam Goldenberg first came to the fashion industry in 2010, but his background in marketing began back when he was only 15. At that time he built his own online company known as Gamer’s Alliance that became sought after by Intermix Media. Intermix Media asked Goldenberg to manage their marketing strategies department in 1998, and in just two years they promoted him to Chief Operating Officer at http://www.entrepreneur.wiki/Adam_Goldenberg. Goldenberg became good friends with another marketing guru named Don Ressler, a man who had previously been a consultant to several manufacturing and multimedia companies and had started FitnessHeaven.com. Goldenberg and Ressler’s first company built together was Alena Media under which they also started Hydroderm.

Goldenberg and Ressler had a disagreement with Intermix Media’s new owners, News Corporation when they bought the company in 2005. So they left and started their own company under which they started even more brands. The fashion industry became interesting to Adam Goldenberg because while he didn’t know much about fashion, he saw a way that he could make fashion shopping even more appealing to millennials. In 2010 he and Ressler had the ideas for their new startup materialized, and it soon had many venture capital investors including Matrix Partners and Passport Capital putting funds into it.

The first notable celebrity to become a part of JustFab was Kimora Lee Simmons who loved how Goldenberg and Ressler made their company affordable to everyone while still putting out attractive apparel on vator.tv. She was president and creative strategy director for a few years prior to leaving. Kate Hudson joined the company around 2012 and soon began doing commercials for Fabletics. JustFab gained over $285 million by 2013 and that same year became valuated at $1 billion making it officially a unicorn. Goldenberg and Ressler decided to turn the company into something even bigger by 2014 when they started opening physical stores. Today TechStyle ships products all over the world.

This summer take a little care and you’ll be dealing with much smaller energy costs and a much happier pocketbook.

It may serve to get it replaced entirely if it’s over 12 years old, as recent innovations in energy efficiency can lower your bills even more effectively.

Get Outside – Ok, this one is kind of a no-brainer but the less time you spend in your house the less time you’ll need to keep it cool. While you’re out there open the windows and doors to help the cool breeze naturally lower the temperature in your home.

Programmable Thermostat – You’re not in your home every minute, but simple thermostats don’t know that. Wouldn’t it be great if the system would only work while there was someone around to enjoy it? Programmable thermostats can do just that, saving you money by only working when needed. Some are even accessible anywhere by smart phone.

Goettl has been working to keep Arizona cool since 1926, making great strides in cooling and heating technology with over 100 patents to mark their innovation.
